Turn the Page was launched in March 2020 by Cepi and IndustriAll European Trade Union in order to develop a strategy for the pulp and paper sector to attract and retain young people and to boost and enhance their perception of the sector. Turn The Page was supported by national partners in Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy and Poland and by Spin360 as technical partner. Over the past two years we have analysed the problems, collected best practice examples, discussed solutions with a wide range of stakeholders at national and European level and brought young people in Italy, Germany, Belgium and Poland in touch with the paper industry.

On 15 February, we will present project results and discuss with stakeholders how to further enhance the attractiveness of the paper sector, in order to create outcomes that can be used across all Europe.

To that purpose we have invited the European Commission, the EU agency supporting the promotion, development and implementation of the Union policy in the field of vocational education and training (CEDEFOP), paper producers, trade unions, VET providers from different countries as well as young workers from the paper industry to give their input and perspective.
