The upcoming EU Bioeconomy Strategy, set for adoption by the end of 2025, aims to bolster innovation and solidify the EU’s leadership in the bioeconomy by proposing actions to bring bioeconomy innovations to market, create green jobs, reinforce circularity and sustainability, and align with initiatives like the Clean Industrial Deal.
The event, featuring Commissioner Jessika Roswall, will address the aspirations, needs, and challenges associated with this initiative, underscoring the importance of leveraging the circular bioeconomy for employment, growth, and resilience amidst geopolitical challenges.
