Dear Readers, dear colleagues,
After almost 11 years leading CEPI, it is now time for me to write the next chapter…on paper of course.
It has been a period of intense activity, most of it in challenging circumstances, during which CEPI has left some important marks in the so-called Brussels context.
CEPI brought to the industry a number of achievements, a few frustrations, a lot of enthusiasm and relentless dedication. CEPI is not its outgoing Director General, it is the team that remains now driven by my successor Marco Mensink. It is also the industry behind, a unique sector in the European economy, both modern high tech with a traditional heritage, innovative fitting in the bio-economy, providing essential products aligned with society’s values, an industry in transformation adapting to the new political and economical challenges.
It gives me great pride to have contributed to taking CEPI to new heights, and to supporting the industry in its evolution. I leave CEPI in good hands, to continue the direction forward.
And I take this opportunity to thank all of our partners and stakeholders, for a fruitful relationship and a successful collaboration.
